Earthquake rattles residents in Exeter area

 

Residents report hearing loud bang during minor earthquak

EXETER, N.H. —A small earthquake shook New Hampshire in the Exeter area early Thursday morning.

The Weston Observatory confirmed that a 1.6-magnitude quake struck about 5 miles west-southwest of Exeter about 2:53 a.m.
